Tað er ein fjølbroyttur hópur, sum starvast á Vinnustovninum. Her eru búskaparfrøðingar, løgfrøðingar, kt-serfrøðingar, samskiparar, skrivstovufólk umframt starvslesandi. Uppgávurnar eru ymiskar, spennandi og avbjóðandi. Hesar fevna m.a. um at:
· tryggja góðan marknaføringssið og brúkaravernd
· fremja nettrygd við at verja kritiska undirstøðukervið og samfelagstýðandi funktiónir
· hava eftirlit við fjarskiftisveitarum
· tryggja virkna marknaðarkapping
· hava eftirlit við tryggingarfeløgum, serliga í sambandi við solvens og leiðslu
· hava eftirlit við, at feløg og vinnurekandi grunnar halda vinnulóggávuna
· viðgerða mál um arbeiðs- og uppihaldsloyvi og familjusameining
· Samskipar og virkar fyri integratiónsátøkum, sum hava við undirvísing í føroyskum máli, arbeiðsmarknað og vælferðartænastur

Vinnustovnurin
We are a public service and supervisory body that consists of the Telecommunications Authority, the Competition Authority, the Insurance Authority, the Postal Authority, the Registration of the Faroe Islands and the Directorate of Immigration. The consumer agency is also co-operating with the Organization of Industry.
There is a diverse group working at the Labour Party. There are economists, lawyers, KT specialists, coordinators, clerks in addition to interns. The tasks are varied, exciting, and challenging. These include:
· Ensure good marketing ethics and consumer protection
· Advance cyber security by protecting critical infrastructure and community-critical functions
· overseeing telecommunications providers
· Ensure effective market competition
· supervising insurance companies, particularly in relation to solvency and management
· overseeing that corporations and nonprofits comply with industry legislation
· Processing work and residence permit and family reunification cases
· Coordinates and promotes integration initiatives that deal with the teaching of the Faroese language, the labour market and welfare services
