KANJON

Kanjon hevur drúgvar royndir innan timbur, betong, kloakk, jørð- og lendisarbeiði og betongsølu. Kanjon virkar bæði sum heildararbeiðstakari, høvuðsarbeiðstakari og undirveit­ari. Við skynsamari verkætlanarleiðslu og góðum samstarvstekki setur Kanjon seg føran fyri at loysa mest sum allar byggiuppgávur.

Kanjon er ein tann elsta byggifyritøkan í Føroyum. Kanjon varð stovnað í 1967 av brøðrunum  Jóhannesi og Kjartani Hansen. Teir hava bygt skúlar, ellis-­ og røktarheim og aðrar stórar bygningar um allar Føroyar. Í 2006 keypti sonur Kjartan, sum eisini  eitur Kjartan, fyritøkuna. Fyritøkan hevur verið í stórari menning seinastu árini. Í 2019 vóru 60­-70 fólk í starvi. Í dag eru uml. 150 fólk í starvi.

Kanjon er ein felagskapur, har samanhald og trivnaður eru í hásæti. Árliga verða felagstiltøk hildin, har starvsfólkini sleppa at hugna sær saman og styrkja felagsskapin. Hesi tiltøkini skapa góðar upplivingar og samanhald millum starvsfólkini.

Kanjon has extensive experience in timber, concrete, sewerage, land and landscaping, and concrete sales. Kanjon acts as both the overall contractor, the main contractor, and the subcontractor. With smart project management and good collaborative skills, Kanjon is able to solve pretty much any construction task.

Kanjon is one of the oldest construction companies in the Faroe Islands. Kanjon was founded in 1967 by the brothers Jóhannes and Kjartan Hansen. They have built schools, retirement homes and other large buildings all over the Faroe Islands. In 2006, Kjartan’s son, who is also named Kjartan, bought the company. The company has undergone a great deal of development in recent years. In 2019, 60-70 people were employed. Today, there are approx. 150 people employed.

Kanjon is an organization where unity and well-being are paramount. Annually, community events are held where employees are allowed to have a good time together and strengthen the community. These events create a good experience and cohesion among employees.
